We Landed on the Moon

One of those players that seems to fly under the radar even though he can fly to the moon, literally, almost.  Jamario Moon is an athletic player that can throw it down like anyone in the game.  He plays with a sense of “passive-agressiveness” that seems to make him an even better player.  Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks for Jamario Moon and Jermaine O’Neal.  I’ll take it every day.

Jamario just moved into my building last week.  I will not tell you where that is because I don’t want all of you to know where I live and because Jamario wouldn’t like that either (although, if you are a girl that’s about 5’5”, size B-C, really cute, fun to talk to and hang out with, e-mail me at BP@themeatylasagna.com, and I’ll let you know.)

I just had a conversation with him outside the building a couple days after he moved in and he was a genuinely nice guy that was extremely happy to be here.  There’s an article in the Miami Herald (http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/story/912693.html) that says he was getting text messages that told him he was traded.  I asked him if he really got those texts and he said, “Yeah, man, I had no idea.  When I found out I was so happy.”  I obviously told him that we were really happy to have him here and that if he ever wanted to come over and hang out he was more than welcome.  He said he would come over if we had a Playstation, I told him we’d get one.

He said he didn’t have time to play fantasy basketball.  I respect that.  But I would play just so I could have myself on my own team.  All in all, Jamario is a down to earth, cool guy that is extremely happy to be playing for the Heat.  The weather, the girls, and last but not least, his neighbors, are all reasons to love Miami.  Now I have to go buy a Playstation.
